The City of San Antonio(City),in 2024, demolishedthe structurally unsound, former Kenwood Community Center. This project is forthe construction of a new 8800 square foot, Community Center located at 305Dora Street. The community center will provide nutritional and educationalservices, as well as fitness and exercise facilities. The program will focus onre-establishing senior services that were previously held on-site, and DHS willcollaborate with the Parks & Recreation department to provide broader Parksprogramming for the wider community. A satellite council office will beaccommodated on site.
