The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) requires the services of one (1) QA/Test Manager Level 2 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Quality Assurance/Testing Manager, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for THECB.
The QA Manager Level 2 will support THECB’s migration of legacy Cold Fusion applications to cloud and the associated web content. The selected Candidate will be required to comply with THECB’s data security policy. This contractor shall be responsible for testing the completion of an agency project to upgrade and migrate internally and externally available Adobe ColdFusion applications. This work shall entail writing and executing test cases and preparing test environments in partnership with the agency quality assurance director. They shall be responsible for planning and scheduling tasks to ensure that developed products meet business requirements and design specifications. The contractor will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects. They should also be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the testing field, including interpreting requirement documents and updating test documents accordingly.
