WHEREAS, pursuant to Texas Government Code§ 442.251, The San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site (the "Site") is under the jurisdiction of the THC; Texas Government Code§ 442.252 (d) (1), THC is authorized to enter into agreements to expanding, renovating, managing, maintaining, operating, or providing financial support for the Site, including the administration and operation of the history museum and battleground
