Sunfinity Renewable Energy was founded in 2016 by John B. Billingsley, Jr. as a sister company to Tri Global Energy, a large wind energy developer he had founded in 2009 and grown to become one of the top five largest wind developers in the US. Sunfinity initially focused on Residential, Commercial & Industrial, and Utility-scale renewable development with operations in Texas and California, quickly growing into Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, and other markets. Sunfinity exited residential solar in 2020 to focus on the commercial, industrial, and small utility-scale sectors. Led by Billingsley, Sunfinity has built a team of experienced professionals able to successfully execute renewable energy projects with a hands-on approach and high level of customer service through contracting, engineering, procurement, and construction.
