Pressure has built inside the wellbore and a flange and needle valve on the wellhead have failed causing it to leak. Due to the depth of the well and pressures seen on the wellhead, if not dealt with immediately, it could result in an uncontrolled well event. The well is located approximately 200 yards from a residence and is only 50 feet from an agricultural field, high traffic road and a flowing creek that flows into Nueces Bay.
