The TexasLottery intends to enter in a proprietary purchase with SmartplayInternational, Inc. for maintenance services on drawing machines and drawingequipment manufactured by Smartplay International, Inc. and owned by the TexasLottery Commission. This solicitation is being advertised in accordance withthe State Lottery Act (Tex. Gov't Code ch. 466.001), as amended; theprocurement rules of the Texas Lottery Commission, 16 Tex. Admin. Code (TAC)§401.101, et seq.; and other applicable laws of the state of Texas. Only bids conforming exactly to thesespecifications, which include proposing only the brand name(s), make and modelnumber(s) specified, will be considered in determining the award. If acompeting vendor believes it can satisfy these specifications, it shouldrespond and explain how the specifications can be met.
