The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking responses from qualified respondents to 1) advise the Agency periodically with respect to intellectual property issues; 2) protecting the Agency’s intellectual property rights through enforcement actions; 3) registering copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property with the federal government (and developing models for future Agency use); 4) creating licensing and royalty agreements or models (for Agency use) for Agency products; 5) assisting in licensing contract negotiations concerning copyrights and intellectual property; and 6) engaging in any other activities that are necessary to assist the Agency in protecting the state’s intellectual property. All TEA engagements will be submitted for approval by the Texas Attorney General and all engagements are non-exclusive.
