TheTexas Department of Agriculture (TDA or Department), an agency of the State of Texas, issues this Invitation For Bid (IFB) to solicit responses from qualified Bidders for an electronic mass comparator for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Echelon II Calibrations (balances) for the Precision laboratory (Laboratory) located within TDA’s Metrology Laboratory to upgrade obsolete equipment to expand the calibration and measuring capabilities (scope of measurement) of the Laboratory. The mass comparator is to be delivered to the TDA’s Metrology Laboratory, located at 1258 CR 226, Giddings, Texas 78942. TDA’s objective is to obtain the commodities that represent the best value for TDA and the State of Texas, according to the terms and conditions of this solicitation.
