The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) seeking information regarding the operation of Dallas State Hospital (DSH or the Hospital), one of 11 state owned psychiatric hospitals. The intent is to determine the potential public interest in contracting with HHSC to fully operate DSH for patients with inpatient psychiatric mental health needs, including competency restoration services. DSH will be part of the broader Texas State Hospital System and will serve as such regardless of the operating entity.
