Pursuant to Chapters 2155 and 2156, as applicable, of the Texas Government Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (“Comptroller”), an agency of the State of Texas, issues this Request for Proposals No. 238k (“RFP”) for the purpose of obtaining from qualified, independent persons or entities, proposals to provide debt collection and related services pursuant to Sections 403.019 and 2107.003(c-1) of the Texas Government Code.

The anticipated schedule of events for this solicitation is as follows: Issuance of RFP – December 18, 2024; Questions Due – January 6, 2025, 2:00 p.m. CT; Official Responses to Questions posted – January 8, 2025, or as soon thereafter as practical; Proposals Due – January 29, 2025, 2:00 p.m. CT; and Commencement of Services –July 1, 2025. The Comptroller reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify this schedule of events. Any amendment to this solicitation will be posted on the ESBD as an RFP addendum. The complete RFP is attached to this posting. Closing Date: Proposals must be submitted in accordance with instructions in the RFP and received via email to contracts@cpa.texas.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. CT, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Late proposals will not beconsidered. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically check the ESBD for updates to the RFP and anticipated schedule of events prior to submitting a proposal.
