This Agreement is authorized under Texas Government Code sec. 442.005 (i), (j), (o), (p), (s), and (t), sec. 442.028, and the General Appropriations Act, H.B. 1, 88th Tex. Leg., Reg. Session, 2023, Article IX, Section 17.21 (f). The National Juneteenth Museum for the development and production of capital construction costs of the museum. Anticipated costs in the state fiscal year 2024 include: architectural, environmental, and interior design work, site acquisition, site preparation, preconstruction, electrical, plumbing, and concrete work. State funding will be invested to support these costs, up to $1,000,000 dollars.
