This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with Texas Government Code, Title 7, Chapter 771, Interagency Cooperation Act. for an Environmental project number CFMO25-ENV-10 at Camp Bowie for Brush Management and Invasive Vegetation Management. The objective of the project is to complete approximately 300 acres of herbicide application and/or mechanical treatment to manage the non-native invasive vegetation that is impacting the suitability of habitat for Texas horned lizards and that of its main food source, harvester ants (Pogonomyrmex sp). The benefits of this project will be to restore the wildlife habitat to preserve ecosystem function and manage fuel loads to protect properties adjacent in Brown County, Texas. The awarded vendor is Texas A&M Forest Services.
