Per TGC2269 and 437.054, The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive sealed proposals from General Contractors to modernize the Texas Army National Guard Readiness Center (RC) facility in Waco, Texas, including mitigation of life safety and code-related deficiencies while simultaneously improving mission capabilities. Work includes but is not limited to Interior building improvements include architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire suppression, fire alarm, IT/telecom trades, person lifts, elevator, new egress stairway and hazardous materials abatement. Exterior building improvements include roof mechanical penetrations, roof replacement, new glazing, new blast resistant glazing, civil site modifications, concrete pavement, concrete ramp & walkways, new water fire suppression line, new building signage, new site fencing and gates, parking lot modifications and new electrical primary. The estimated Base Cost of this project is $11,500,000.00 with Proposal Options estimated at $2,700,000.00. General Contractors must request via the group email FY25WacoRCMMSTAR@cfmo.mil.texas.gov the Drawings/Plans and Specifications electronically in digital format. Vendors MUST attend one (1) of the two (2) MANDATORY site visits at 10:00 AM CT, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, OR 10:00 AM CT, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 2120 N New Road, Waco, Texas 76707. Failure to attend one of the two site visits will result in disqualification of the response. Competitive Sealed Proposals for TMD25-CFMO--0039202 Waco RC MM STAR Project will be received by the TMD until 11:30 AM CT, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Camp Mabry, building 37, Austin, Texas 78703.
