Project Description: EV charger installation about 100ft outdoor dedicated wiring line 6AWG THHN copper wire (x2 for hot legs) 8AWG ground wire 3/4¿ EMT conduit running the line along the foundation on the wall of the house at a height of 3-5 inches above the ground then climbing the wall 4-5 feet and through the wall an entrance to the garage where a 48 amp hardwired charger is installed. Concrete Walkway Passage by cutting of the walkway to a depth of 4 inches laying the wires in the EMT conduit to a depth of 4 inches and pouring concrete. The inlet and outlet portions of the EMT conduit are also poured with a layer of concrete to a depth of 4-6 inches. Connection to outside Main panel (SquareD QO) with main service breaker 150amps. EV charger to be connected to 60A two-pole breaker set the charger to 48A max output. No need an panel upgrade.
