Bathroom Replumb ¿ Leak Repair Under Pier and Beam Home Issue: A leak has been identified in the cast iron sewer stack beneath the pier and beam home specifically at the section of pipe just before it penetrates the subfloor. Cause: The existing plumbing configuration as originally installed ties both the toilet and tub into the same leaking stack. Due to this setup and the condition of the materials a full replumb of the bathroom drain system is necessary. Work to be Performed: All existing cast iron piping serving the bathroom will be cut out and completely removed. The entire bathroom drain system will be replumbed using new PVC sewer piping. New PVC lines will be securely strapped to the underside of the subfloor to ensure long-term stability and to prevent shifting or sagging over time.
