COPA Transit Bus Pads #3 is a Renovation/Alteration project located at rights-of way throughout, Port Arthur, Teaxas in Port Arthur, Texas. The project has an estimated value of $200K covering 2,100 sq ft. City of Port Arthur is the property owner and Soutex is the design firm of record. The project was registered with TDLR on March 13, 2025.
Installation of bus pads in developed public right-of-way. Some pad sites will be removed/replaced and some new. Some pads will tie into existing sidewalk/ramps and some will be new, Design follows PROWAG as required- federally funded
Note: This project is registered under the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) program. TDLR registration is required for commercial and public facility construction to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements under Texas Government Code Chapter 469.
