Public Finance Advisory Services As Needed

Pursuant
to Chapters 403, 404 and 2254, Subchapter B, and Section 1201.027 of the Texas
Government Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts
(“Comptroller”) announces its Request for Proposals No. 235a (“RFP”) to solicit
proposals from qualified, independent financial market experts, who specialize
in public finance, to serve as a
financial advisor to Comptroller to provide financial consulting services on a
project-by-project, as-needed basis on state finance matters and related
services as described in the RFP. The
successful respondent will be expected to begin performance of the contract on
or about September 1, 2023, or as soon thereafter as practical.

The anticipated schedule of events is as follows: Issuance of RFP – May 16, 2023,
after 10:00 a.m. CT; Questions Due – May 25, 2023, 2:00 p.m. CT; Official
Responses to Questions posted – May 30, 2023; Proposals Due – June 15, 2023,
2:00 p.m. CT; Contract Execution – July 31, 2023, or as soon thereafter as
practical; Commencement of Work – September 1, 2023. Comptroller reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to modify this schedule of events. Notice of changes will be posted on the Electronic State Business Daily. Parties interested in requesting a copy of

Notice. Closing Date: Proposals must be
received in the Contracts Attorney's Office at the e-mail address specified in
the RFP no later than 2:00 p.m. (CT), on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Late proposals will not be considered.
