In accordance with Section 11.0171 of the Parks and Wildlife Code the Direct Contract Method was authorized and a contract awarded for construction services for pool repairs at Lyndon B. Johnson SHS. The competitive solicitation made in accordance with Chapters 2155 and 2269 of the Texas Government Code did not result in receiving responsive proposals. Project scope includes repairs to existing leaking pool to meet current codes including removal and replacement of existing concrete decking, replacement of all pool plumbing, pool refinishing, ADA updates, bathhouse repairs, electrical repairs, backwash system, fencing and related repairs.
