The Health and Human Services Commission (“Owner”), forand on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division (“HSCS”),is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) for selectionof a General Contractor (“Contractor”) to provide general constructionand construction administration services to the Owner for Project No.Project 25-102-LFL, HVAC Unit Replacements at Lufkin SSLC (the “Project”),in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in thisSolicitation.

This Solicitation is being issued to select a Contractor forthe Project as provided by Texas Government Code, Section 2155.144(b-2)and Chapter 2269, Subchapter D.

Project Summary: The scope of work includes, but is notlimited to, the following:

Replacing the existing HVAC units in Buildings 506, 523, and524 with new units. The existing HVAC units will need to remain operationaluntil they are ready for the changeover. This work will need to be phased andcoordinated with the facility as these buildings will be occupied during theconstruction period.

Project Estimate: The approximate cost for constructionof the Project is $750,000.00

Mandatory Pre-Proposal Webinar and Optional JobsiteVisit

HHSC will conduct two mandatory pre-proposal webinars that will be held atthe dates and times listed on the RFP Attendance at one (1) pre-proposalwebinar is mandatory. Failure to attendwill result in the disqualification of a Respondent. Proposals received fromRespondents not listed on the attendance log will not be considered. PotentialRespondents must be prepared to attend one of the scheduled webinars,additional webinars will not be offered.
