SCOPE: Inaccordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter §2269 SubchapterD, Competitive Sealed Proposal Method, and Rules and Procedures adopted by theTexas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is soliciting proposals for primeconstruction services for Project 22-013-2513, Department of Public SafetyCrime Lab Training Facilities, located at 5805 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas

CONTRACT TERM: Constructionis required to commence within fourteen (14) calendar days after the Notice toProceed is issued. The contract period is projected for a term of seven hundredthirty (730) calendar days except as may be otherwise amended or negotiated.

STATEMENT OF WORK: Provideall materials, equipment, labor, coordination and supervisory activitiesnecessary to complete construction of the project as more fully described inthe Attachment D – Project Manual, and Attachment E – ProjectDrawings, which include specifications, drawings, and other contractdocuments, prepared by the A/E of record, Parkhill, and TFC.

MANDATORY PRE-SUBMITTALTELECONFERENCES: Themandatory pre-submittal conferences will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at10:00 AM and Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Pre-registration is required to participate inthe teleconference. Respondents must have an employee of their firm attendat least one (1) of the two (2) scheduled pre-submittal teleconferences.TFC shall reject submittals submitted by firms that did not attend one of themandatory pre-submittal conferences.
