A/E Services for Texas Finance Commission - New Building

1) SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of TexasGovernment Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, Professional Services, and Rulesand Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC isrequesting submittal of qualifications to provide prime professionalarchitectural/engineering (A/E) services for the Texas Finance CommissionBuilding located at 3500 Jackson Ave., Austin, TX 78731, hereinafterdescribed as Project #26-029-2597.

The Owner has engaged Freeseand Nichols, Inc. as the Owner’s Representative to provide Project Management(PM) services for this project.

2) CONTRACT TERM: It is the intentionof TFC to award a Contract for full prime professionalarchitectural/engineering (A/E) services for the term of the project. Servicesundertaken pursuant to this RFQ will be required to commence within fourteen (14)calendar days of delivery of a Notice to Proceed. The Project associated withthe services requested in this solicitation is anticipated to be one thousandninety-five (1095) calendar days which includes construction.

1. The project consists of cleaning up, removinghazards, and demolishing Building 10 and its parking area. It also includesbuilding a new three-story structure covering 65,000 square feet, along withsurface parking (200 spaces) at 3500 Jackson Avenue in Austin, Texas.
