The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:
Solicitation Number: IFB 2025-121, HWY 80 Utility Project IFB
Project Scope: The scope of the project includes but is not limited to construction of a new 6.5 MGD lift station facility, approximately 11,600 LF of 18β wastewater force main, and approximately 11,700 LF of 24β reuse water line. The project estimated construction cost is $22,247,000.00.

Bidders must submit a cashierβs check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.
A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to the video conference must be submitted to SRobertson@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid conference.
Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference. Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, March 31, 2026, City Council meeting, at 6:00 p.m., or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
