1) SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use ofCompetitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requestingresponses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of pickup,transportation, and recycling services of single stream recycling in variousfacilities managed by the Texas Facilities Commission located in Austin, Texasand throughout the State of Texas. TFC anticipates award to a single vendorfrom this solicitation.

a) TFC generates approximately 2,300 tons of Single-Stream Office Recyclable Material annually including, but not limited to:

i) Mixed office paper;

ii) Plastics one through seven (excluding plastic bagsand Styrofoam);

iii) Soft cover books/manuals/folders; and

iv) Cardboard.

b) Glass is excluded from this service.

c) This quantity is strictly an estimate, and there isno guaranty of volume. The actual amountwill increase or decrease throughout the life of the contract.

d) Single stream recycling pickup and transport to TFCapproved recycling collection facility.

e) Contractor shall provide all labor, materials,equipment, tools, transportation, permits, and licensing required to performthese services.

2) CONTRACT TERM: This serviceshall be for a period beginning on the date the contract, as defined below, isexecuted by both parties, and shall expire on August 31, 2027. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additionaltwo (2) year periods, provided the renewal is executed prior to expiration ofthe current contract term. Any renewalsshall be in writing and at the same terms and conditions, plus any approvedchanges.

3) SCHEDULEOF EVENTS: TFC reserves the right to change the dates in theSchedule of Events set forth below upon written notification to prospectiveRespondents through a posting of an addendum on the ESBD.
