1) SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use ofCompetitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) isrequesting responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of preventativemaintenance and repair services at the Dr. Bob Glaze Laboratory including theA600 Support Building, located at 1100 W. 49th St., Austin, TX 78751, for thesoftware and firmware of the installed Siemens Building Control System. TFCanticipates an award to a single vendor from this solicitation.

a) Service shall include but not be limited to thefollowing:

i) Preventive Maintenance

ii) Automation Controls Analysis and Optimization

iii) Analytics/Fault Detection

iv) Network Analysis and Optimization

v) Calibration Services

vi) Lab Exhaust Units (LEU) System Services

vii) As-Needed System Repairs

viii) See Attachment A Service Contract for full detailsof contract requirements.

b) These specifications are being advertised underSection 2155 067 of the Texas Government Code. Only bids on items conformingexactly to these specifications, which include proposing only the brandname(s), make and model number(s) specified, will be considered in determiningan award.

2) SCHEDULEOF EVENTS: TFC reserves the right to change the dates in theSchedule of Events set forth below upon written notification to prospectiveRespondents through a posting of an addendum on the ESBD.
