SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use ofCompetitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) is requestingresponses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of inspections,preventative maintenance, remedial repair, and emergency repair for emergencygenerators, automatic transfer switches, diesel fire pumps, associated systems,and as needed generator rental services in various facilities managed by theTFC and located throughout Texas with most services taking place in Austin,Texas as listed in Attachment E – Facilities, Equipment List, and Compensationand Fees. TFC anticipates to award multiple vendors from this solicitation.

CONTRACT TERM: This serviceshall be for a period beginning on the date the contract, as defined below, isexecuted by both parties, and shall expire on August 31, 2027. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additionaltwo (2) year periods, provided the renewal is executed prior to expiration ofthe current contract term. Any renewalsshall be in writing and at the same terms and conditions, plus any approvedchanges.

SCHEDULEOF EVENTS: TFC reserves the right to change the dates in theSchedule of Events set forth below upon written notification to prospectiveRespondents through a posting of an addendum on the ESBD.
