Huntington Bank 111 NW 24th Street, Fort Worth, TX Certificate of Appropriateness Narrative This application is for the removal of existing signage and installation of new non-illuminated wall signage for Huntington Bank, located within the Fort Worth Historical Stockyards. The proposed signage is part of a branding update intended to provide a cohesive and recognizable identity while remaining compatible with the historic character of the area. The proposed scope includes two (2) wall signs: • Front Elevation (E01): Installation of non-illuminated aluminum plate letters mounted to an aluminum panel designed to fit within the existing façade conditions and align with architectural features. The sign measures 34” x 186” with a proposed square footage of 41.92 square feet. • Side Elevation (E02): Installation of non-illuminated aluminum plate letters directly mounted to the building façade. The sign measures 23 11/16” x 167 15/16” with a proposed square footage of 27.64 square feet. All proposed signage is non-illuminated and utilizes a green color palette consistent with Huntington Bank’s branding, providing clear identification for customers and visitors. The design maintains a simple, traditional appearance intended to remain compatible with the historic character of the district. The proposed signage reduces the overall sign area compared to the existing signage on both elevations, resulting in a more refined appearance while still maintaining adequate visibility for vehicles and pedestrians. This proposal is limited to signage updates and is designed to remain consistent with the character and design of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
