Replacement of an existing water heater INSTALL 50GAL WATER HEATER
ETJ disconnect/reconnect services to install ATS for generator. This project involves coordinating with Austin Energy to temporarily remove and reinstall the existing utility meter in order to facilitate the connection of a Kohler 26kW standby generators automatic transfer switch (ATS) to the residential electrical service. No new meter is being installed and the generator installation itself has been separately permitted and inspected through the City of Lakeway. This permit request pertains solely to the temporary de-energization of the service to allow safe installation of the ATS. The scope of work includes coordinating with Austin Energy to perform a work-with meter pull completing the required electrical connections between the service panel and the ATS and reinstalling the existing meter upon completion. No service upgrade meter base replacement or structural modifications are included. All work will be performed in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
