Our scope of work includes performing a direct access drain repair in the garage to correct a damaged section of the underground sanitary drain line. We will saw cut and remove approximately a 3 x 3 section of the garage concrete slab to safely expose the affected piping below. Once the drain line is exposed we will remove the damaged 45-degree fitting that has been compromised by root intrusion. The defective fitting will be cut out and replaced with new approved PVC fittings and pipe to restore the integrity of the drainage system. All new connections will be properly aligned solvent welded and installed in accordance with current plumbing code standards. After the repair is complete we will perform a static water test on the drain system to verify the repair is watertight and free of leaks. The system will remain under test for the required plumbing inspection. Once the repair has successfully passed inspection we will backfill the excavation with suitable material compact the soil as needed and patch the garage concrete to restore the slab. This estimate includes the plumbing repair concrete removal and replacement backfilling testing and cleanup of the work area. Any additional repairs required due to unforeseen conditions or the discovery of additional damaged piping outside the original scope will be discussed with the homeowner prior to proceeding.
